Award season is in full swing and Hollywood’s biggest stars are walking the red carpet to honor this year’s best in movies, television and music. With the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards now done, the excitement is building for these upcoming TV events. Here’s your guide to what to watch on VMedia TV.

Grammy Awards Ceremony – Sunday Jan. 26 / 8PM (ABC)

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony recognizes the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the year. Artists taking the stage on music’s biggest night are first-time nominee breakout stars Billie Eilish and Lizzo, powerhouse artists Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, taking the GRAMMY stage together for the first time ever; and four-time GRAMMY winners and Aerosmith, who will perform a medley of some of their legendary hits.

British Academy of Film & Television Arts Award Ceremony – Feb. 2 / (Hollywood Suite)

The 73rd British Academy Film Awards, also known as the BAFTA’s, recognize the very best in feature-length film and documentaries of any nationality screened on British cinemas in the past year. This year’s event will be hosted by Graham Norton.

 Independent Spirit Awards Ceremony – Feb. 8th / 5PM (Hollywood Suite)

Celebrating its 35th year, the Independent Spirit Awards is an annual celebration honoring artist-driven films made with an economy of means by filmmakers whose films embody independence and originality. The Spirit Awards recognizes the achievements of American independent filmmakers and promotes the finest independent films of the year to a wider audience.

An Academy Award is the most coveted prize in Hollywood and the Oscars draw together Hollywood royalty and new emerging stars to recognize the greatest film achievements over the past year. Joker leads the pack with a total of 11 nominations, including best picture, where it’ll compete alongside ‘1917,’ ‘Ford v Ferrari,’ ‘The Irishman,’ ‘Jojo Rabbit,’ ‘Little Women,’ ‘Marriage Story,’ ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ and ‘Parasite.’
